We are honored that you have chosen us for your skin care needs and promise to provide you with the best care available. This Web site will introduce you to some of our office policies, and will likely answer many questions you may have.
Our office was opened in 1995 by Kenneth Dawes, M.D., and became a group in 1997 when he partnered with Scott Fretzin, M.D. In 2007 we welcomed Christy Nebesio, M.D. and Priya Young, M.D. to our growing practice. Our newest physician, Mary Spolyar, M.D., joined us in July 2009. All of our physicians are board certified in dermatology. We also have two physician assistants, Christina Race and Betsy Golden.
Dawes Fretzin Dermatology is pleased to welcome Dr. Ann-Marie Hyatt to our practice in August 2012. Dr. Hyatt graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio in 2001. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. She completed her dermatology residency in Indianapolis at the Indiana University School of Medicine and was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2010. She continued her education at University of Cincinnati, with a dermatopathology fellowship. She looks forward to meeting and caring for her new patients at Dawes Fretzin!
Dawes Fretzin's esthetician, Joan Merski, was featured in a segment entitled "Vibradermabrasion - the Key to Youth." In the segment, Joan discusses non-surgical treatments for the face that treat fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and sun damage. She discusses a newer treatment, called vibradermabrasion, which is the next generation of microdermabrasion, in addition to a lactic acid (alpha hydroxyl) peel, which hydrates the skin. A patient who receives regular vibradermabrasion treatments is also featured. Learn more about Joan and Dawes Fretzin's cosmetic services >>
